The new UD Trucks uniform, which improves functionality and comfort, has completed its roll-out to all sites worldwide as of February 2023.

This marks the first time the uniforms have been redesigned since the company name was changed to UD Trucks in 2010. The undertaking became one of the biggest cross-functional initiatives in the company’s history, involving numerous departments, plants and parts centers across multiple countries.

The new uniforms put durability, functionality, and comfort first. Before finalizing the final design, prototypes were worn and fine-tuned in collaboration with employees that are always in uniform. The new uniform also features a modern and timeless design, that can be worn proudly by the next generation as well.

In Japan, the old uniforms will be recycled into polyester raw material for clothing and automobile interior materials through a partnership with BRING UNIFORM, effectively giving them a second life.
