After the global launch in Thailand in August, 2013, the new Quester was recently launched for the first time in the Philippines in cooperation with Civic Merchandising, Inc., a UD Trucks Philippines importer.
The official launch started with a test drive session. The Quester full range was lined up for more than 60 customers and business partners for a touch and feel experience. Not only customers were impressed with the truck's performance, but they also paid a lot of attention to the exhibition kits.
“With the new Quester, we have now built on our tradition of reliability and durability, to launch our new customer promise, ‘going the extra mile’. I am confident that Quester will be a big game changer for UD Trucks and also for its customers as the truck has been developed in Asia, manufactured in Asia, for Asia!” added, Mr. Christophe Martin, SVP, Volvo Group Trucks Asia Oceania.
UD Questers sold in the Philippines are manufactured in a Volvo Group plant in Bangkok, Thailand. During the launch, sales of UD Quester have already started in small scale.
