We are proud to stand as one of the global Technology and IT hubs for the Group, driving commercial vehicle solutions, digitalization and telematics. We work in close collaboration with manufacturing facilities located across six countries and have the experience and knowledge of over 60 overseas markets, defining and developing products suited to their application demands and geographical needs. Our Purchasing team has played a pivotal role in developing a rich supplier base for the Group in India, China, Thailand and across the globe.

Our Facilities
UD Trucks India operates from its modern office at Bagmane Cosmos – Vesta Building, CV Raman Nagar, Bengaluru, where all functions across the business value chain are seamlessly integrated under one roof. Also housed within the facility is the Electrical and Electronics (E&E) Architecture Lab, equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies. The lab plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and vehicle software. The use of advanced 3D CAD systems and a dedicated VR Lab for ergonomics studies reflects the company's commitment to early validation, precision, and quality in product development.
The Information Technology (IT) team, based at the same facility, plays a pivotal role in shaping UD Trucks' digital future. Beyond developing software that powers business operations and connected vehicle solutions, the team drives the company's Digital Transformation (DX) program through the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and cloud-based technologies. These capabilities enable smarter operations, accelerate innovation, and create seamless digital experiences for employees, customers, and partners. The convergence of engineering excellence, AI, and digital innovation reinforces UD Trucks India's position as a strategic global technology hub within the UD Trucks and Isuzu Group.
The company has a Development Center situated at Narsapura, near Bengaluru, which serves as a key hub for product development and validation. The facility features a Project Vehicle Assembly (PVA) area where prototype vehicles and test trucks are built to support engineering and development activities. It also houses advanced workshops and validation capabilities that enable engineers to evaluate vehicle performance, functionality, and durability throughout the development lifecycle.
To complement its in-house capabilities, UD Trucks India partners with leading government-approved testing and certification agencies such as the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) and the Global Automotive Research Centre (GARC). Additionally, NATRAX (National Automotive Test Tracks) serves as a proving ground for testing the durability and reliability of our trucks for global markets. These collaborations help ensure that every vehicle, component, and system meets stringent quality, safety, regulatory, and performance standards, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality products to customers.
