The fleet investment demonstrates Linfox’s long-term commitment to operating the newest, safest and most environmentally friendly fleet on the road.
Linfox Executive Chairman, Peter Fox said, “An efficient, safe and modern fleet ensures the reliability of our customers’ supply chains.”
Linfox worked closely with UD Trucks to source a fleet that met the specific needs of BevChain’s customers.
“BevChain rely on a range of vehicles from heavy rigids, trailers and flatbed trucks to transport beverage products to various delivery points including pubs, bottle shops and customer distribution centres.
“Fittingly, the vehicles incorporate products manufactured by two of our valued customers – the livery is DuluxGroup paints and the tyres are Goodyear Australia,” said Peter.
Linfox’s own FoxTrax safety technology will also be installed, which features a driver pre-trip inspection including fitness for duty, safe load constraint and vehicle condition checklists as well as electronic driver fatigue management.
“We are committed to supporting Linfox’s commitment to safety, sustainability and efficiency, together.”
President and CEO Volvo Group Australia Martin Merrick was also on hand to champion the strong relationship that Volvo Group Australia has developed with Linfox over the past three decades.
“Partnerships are always stronger and easier when your values are closely aligned. Linfox and UD Trucks share the same values of safety and environmental care, as well as dependability.”
