Our investment in research and development helps us meet the future needs of customers and society as a whole. Our teams in Powertrain Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Verification and Quality Assurance all work together, while collaborating with other functions like Operations and Sales. Through our work in automation, electromobility and connectivity, we will provide transportation solutions for the future.
調達
品質はもちろん、価格交渉も行い、より良いものを安定的に、適切な価格で購入をすることがミッションの部署です。設計・開発を基に、もっとも適したトラック部品の調達を行います。また、調達には多くの部門があり、トラックの部品を調達している部署と、それ以外（生産設備・土地建物・出張関連・イベントなど）の購買も行っています。
UD Trucks Purchasing
The department's mission is to negotiate prices as well as quality, and to ensure that better products are purchased stably and at the right price. Based on design and development, the department procures the most suitable truck parts. Procurement also has many departments, some of which procure truck parts and others (production equipment, land and buildings, travel-related matters, events, etc.).
製造
商品であるトラックを高品質で効率的に、そしてお客様のニーズに合わせて柔軟に量産するための生産工程を設計し、実現に導く仕事をしています。トラックの電動化や自動化によって、生産品質への要求の変化や複雑化、またグリーンファクトリー化など日々変化するニーズにも対応するため、IoT、AI、ロボティクスなどの先進技術を積極的に取り入れ、効率的でスマートな工場をつくりあげていきます。
