Front cab panel - Daily
inspections are performed by simply pulling the release in the cab to
open the front cab panel. The operator or technician can then easily
access the coolant and clutch reservoirs, heater core and air
conditioner charge parts.
The cab can be tilted
forward with a simple pull of the release levers. When a cab is returned
to its original position, the main hook automatically locks. For added
safety, a warning light and buzzer alert the operator if the cab fails
to lock completely.
A comprehensive array of
warning and indicator lights are standard equipment.
Demanding traffic situations
require quick thinking, and even quicker stops. All UD TRUCKS with air
over hydraulic or full air brake systems are equipped with ABS.
Anti-lock brakes are designed to prevent skidding and help drivers
maintain steering control during an emergency stopping situation. This
can mean the difference between a near miss or total catastrophe.

UD TRUCKS are built for the long run. The cab is manufactured with extensive
rust proofing procedures augmented by special coatings and watertight
sealing components. Wiring harnesses are waterproofed to maintain electrical
integrity. All powertrain and chassis components are ruggedly constructed.
Overall, UD TRUCKS are tough and durable, designed to preserve the
appearance, value and performance of your investment for years.
