Well designed grab handles and clearly visible steps make it easy to get in and out of the cab. Large self-cleaning aluminum alloy steps extend beyond the cab's threshold for sure footing. Either a single or dual step is needed depending on truck model.

The UD Cab: A Sanctuary in the City

The UD TRUCKS spacious cab is designed with the operator's comfort and convenience in mind. The instrument panel is smartly arranged with easy-to-read dials and gauges. The adjustable steering column and driver's seat allow a customized driving position. Power steering is also standard.

The uncluttered cab floor provides plenty of foot and leg room between the seats and dash area for comfortable driving.

The cab front is supported by rubber mounts and torsion bars. The rear is suspended by a leaf spring and shock absorbers. The result is a smoother, quieter ride and increased driver comfort - a key factor in retaining top drivers. The UD cab suspension is a standard premium feature that you won't find in most other class 5, 6, and 7 chasis.

Easy to read gauges and warning lights are located on the instrument panel. Amber backlighting ensures clear visibility for nighttime driving. Push button controls allow effortless operation.

The driver's seat and tilt/telescopic steering column can be adjusted to the ideal driving position. The cloth driver's seat includes a seat-back and headrest which reclines a full 72 degrees.

An optional high-capacity air conditioning system offers UD TRUCK drivers maximum comfort for relaxed driving. An increased number of air vents combined with a new louver design provide effective air circulation. Interior insulation and a unique cab suspension system reduce external shock and vibration in the cab. This helps keep the operator comfortable and take "the grind" out of a long day at the wheel.
