UD trucks deliveries in Asia remained steady with a slight decrease of less than 2%. South East Asia saw an increase with newcomers like Myanmar and Thailand. Both countries went from a sale of 0 to 41 and 171 vehicles respectively in 2012.

North America

Due to a combination of factors that include the continued shrinking of the cab-over-engine market segment and the cost of regulatory compliance, UD Trucks ceased its production in the U.S., selling only 436 vehicles in 2012. Last orders were placed on October 15th, 2012.

Middle and South America

UD trucks deliveries in Middle and South America reached 169 vehicles with a decrease of 49%, a possible reflection of the economic downturn.

Oceania & Africa

In Oceania and Africa, UD Trucks deliveries amounted to 930 and 3573 respectively in 2012. Compared to the year before, they declined by 9% and 6.5% respectively.
