UD Trucks



The Condor models are powered by the GH7 engine and achieve high levels of power and torque. This is a result of refined technology, combining efficient combustion chamber design and high pressure common rail unit injection. Our SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) emission reduction technologies enable the MK to provide excellent fuel economy and environmental performance. All the Condor models meet, and exceed, Euro 5 emission standards.


MK 11 280 comes equipped with a UD Trucks six-speed manual transmission. The UD six-speed manual features a power shift mechanism that reduces shift effort for the driver.


UD’s GH7, 7 litre, 6 cylinder uses advanced High pressure common rail injection, intercooled Turbo and SCR technology to improve fuel economy by approximately 10%. Horsepower and torque increases to 206kW / 883Nm - 8% more power, and 11% more torque giving you a refined and efficient transport solution.

Suspension Options

UD is the only Japanese truck manufacturer to offer the option of either UD Truck’s leaf spring, or Hendrickson air bag rear suspension across the entire Australian medium duty range.

All Condor MK models use multi leaf springs at the front and rear of the vehicle, matched to double acting telescopic shock absorbers. There are also multi leaf front spring options for demanding workloads.

UD Trucks MK range leads the way by offering an Air Over Hydraulic (AOH) brake system, incorporating a pneumatically operated spring park brake on the drive axle.


At UD Trucks safety is an important part of our business, so across our range we have included ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) as a standard feature.

ABS enables drivers to maintain steering control under severe braking conditions in emergency or low traction conditions. MK models feature a Wabco four channel ABS system.

Easy Hill Start

EHS (Easy Hill Start) is standard for all Condor Models fitted with manual transmissions. This enables a smooth safe start-up on inclines by maintaining brake pressure for a preset period once the clutch pedal is released. This greatly reduces clutch and driveline wear and tear and lowers the possibility of the truck rolling on take-off.
